Voyage au Pays Dogon

We spent the night in a town called Yuga, which is where the granaries in the last picture on the previous page are. This fellow to the left is a hunter. He had several pelts stretched out behind him.

Also near le chasseur were these two kids:

 

 

This guy is the village chief of Yuga.

 

 

The next day we drove to Saye's hometown, Terelli. The only thing was, now we would have to call him by his first name, Amagono, since everybody in Terreli has the last name Saye.

 

 

 

 

We only got stuck once! (And not for very long.)
